12 Things You Should Never Do at Walt Disney World

9. Don’t bring weapons (or anything that looks like one) into the parks.

It sounds like this should be a no-brainer. Weapons and Disney World? The two don’t go together in any way. But concealed handgun and open-carry legislation is changing in many states, and people visiting the parks, especially for the first time, may not realize that absolutely no weapons, concealed or otherwise, are allowed on Disney property. This is for the safety of all Guests. Park rules and regulations also state that Guests cannot bring anything into the parks that resembles a weapon, so if you are thinking of bringing in water guns to beat the heat, and they very much look like handguns, you’ll need to have an alternative plan because guards at bag check won’t permit you to bring them into the parks.
