11. Don’t use a selfie stick in the parks.
In 2015, Disney World issued a restriction on the use of selfie sticks inside the parks, no matter where you are. Previously, there was a restriction on them while on certain attractions, but growing safety concerns for both Cast Members and Guests led Disney to the decision to ban them across the parks in general. Smartphones are attached to selfie sticks and extended a foot or more from a person so he or she can take selfies from a distance that result in a photograph looking less like a selfie and more like a group photo, minus the photographer far away. Because the sticks extend so far, they can obstruct the view of other Guests and can present the danger of potential injuries to others.
