4. External Battery -- Most guests who spend time in Walt Disney World and the Magic Kingdom carry smartphones and use them fairly constantly. Smartphones are amazing tools, and guests who are enjoying time in the Magic Kingdom can use them to do everything including check the weather, take photos, play games, and check the wait times. Guests can also use their phones to access the My Disney Experience App which allows them to check wait times and park hours, make or modify FastPasses and Dining Reservations, and so much more. With so much time spent utilizing their phones, guests can run down their batteries pretty quickly and find themselves with a dying phone early on in the day. Cast Members recommend carrying an external battery for on the go charging, that way guests don’t need to worry about their phones drying and can instead continue to explore the Magic Kingdom.
