5) Frozen Ever After
No, this enormously popular attraction at the Norway pavilion on the World Showcase isn’t brand new, but it is one of Disney World’s most recently debuted attractions, and it is just as good the second time as you remember it being the first time you experienced it! All our favorite characters from Frozen are part of the attraction, including Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, Kristoff, Hans and even minor characters. Frozen Ever After also showcases new audio-animatronic technology. The attraction is home to the first ever all-electric audio-animatronics, which are different from animatronics of an older technology, which used either pneumatics or hydraulics to create movements. The new generation of animatronic robots’ movements are more fluid and less “jerky.” The attraction also uses rear-projection technology on the animatronics to make their faces and facial expressions seem more lifelike. Another plus to the attraction is the fact that the original songwriters/composers Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson worked with Imagineers and revised some of the lyrics to the popular Frozen songs to be used as part of the attraction. Listen closely and see if you can hear the different lyrics. You’ll be surprised.
