6.) Expereince Fantasmic!
This is no ordinary nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! It’s a brilliant combination of water fountains, projections, pyrotechnics, live entertainers, a bad dream, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Steamboat Willie. It sounds crazy, but Fantasmic! is an amazing spectacle—one unlike anything you’ve seen before. The story is about the power of imagination—Mickey’s imagination—and his seems to have run away with him! Mickey has fallen asleep and begins to dream, but soon that dream becomes a nightmare, and it just keeps going! Scenes from over 17 Disney feature films are used and shown as projections against screens of mist. Mickey also encounters several Disney villains—Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Scar, Hades and more. And later in his nightmare, he must battle Maleficent, the villain in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty, who has turned into a four-story high fire-breathing dragon! Will Mickey wake up before it’s too late? You’ll stand up and cheer as Steamboat Willie navigates a big boat through the moat in front of the audience. All of our favorite Disney characters are aboard the boat, and some of them can only be seen here!
