12 Disney Trading Pins That are Hard to Find

7. Annual Passholder Pins

Disney World offers pins for exclusive purchase by Annual Passholders. The pins are different each year and usually don’t hit the parks or Disney Springs’ Pin Traders boutique until sometime after the D23 Expo in July each year. You may have to ask for the Passholder pins, as they are usually kept in a case at a cashier’s station. In order to purchase one, you must first show the plastic copy of your Annual Pass, along with your driver’s license. Once you’ve verified your passholder status, you will be able to purchase a passholder pin for that year. Passholder pins are also rendered in limited editions—only 3,000 of the 2017 Walt Disney World Annual Passholder Pin, which featured Maleficent in her dragon form in the Fantasmic! Show at Hollywood Studios were produced, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. It’s easy to see why these pins are hard to find, especially if you don’t have an Annual Pass.
