The icon of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is the massive Tree of Life which is covered with hundreds of branches and thousands of vibrant green swaying leaves. The highlight of the Tree of Life is its intricately carved trunk which features the likeness of hundreds of animals. While the Tree of Life might seem real, it was created by Imagineers and actually features an upside down recycled oil rig as its inner support.
