2. Enchanted Tiki Room – Adventureland, Magic Kingdom
Disney World fanatics with an affinity for the classic attractions are very familiar with this experience, in which “all the birds sing words and the flowers croon.” But if Disney World is a new vacation destination for you and your family, you may not have heard a lot about it. You might not even notice the Tiki Room while journeying through Adventureland. But it’s worth taking the time to slow your Disney World pace, stop in, sit back and relax as 225 audio-animatronic birds, flowers, tiki gods and totem poles come to life, sing and entertain in a production hosted by four beautiful macaws—Jose’, Fritz, Michael and Pierre. The wait times are never very long, and even the queue is enchanting! The Tiki Room has been a part of Walt Disney World since it first opened in 1971, when it debuted as the “Tropical Serenade,” and though it has undergone a few changes over the years, the original show is still presented multiple times daily.
