Every guest has a reason for loving Walt Disney World. From favorite attractions and restaurants to the perfect show or room at a Disney Resort, there is something that makes every guest very happy on a Disney vacation. These special experiences are what make a trip to Walt Disney World so amazing and keep guests coming back for more time after time again. While each guest has their favorite, there are certain experiences which are popular with many making them some of the most loved experiences in the parks. Here are twelve experiences that guests love most in Walt Disney World.

12. Dinosaur

Guests who love thrills love visiting Dinosaur in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The attraction brings guests into the Dino Institute where the technology to travel back to the time of the dinosaurs has been developed. Instead of taking a scenic tour though a calm period of history, guests find themselves dangerously close to the massive asteroid impact on the hunt for one particular dinosaur to bring back to modern times. Featuring near darkness and some scary encounters, guests love enjoying Dinosaur.

11. Toy Story Land

Get ready to shrink down to the size of toy while having a blast in Andy’s backyard! Toy Story Land is open at Hollywood Studios and we for one can’t get enough of the fun atmosphere and incredible attractions. The “oldie” but goodie in the land, Toy Story Mania, is still as popular as ever with it’s 3D, arcade style ride. Slinky Dog Dash however is stealing the spotlight! Slinky Dog Dash is a family-friendly coaster where Slinky Dog takes guests on dips and turns throughout Andy’s backyard. After the coaster, get your Alien fix! 10. Pandora – The World of Avatar

Pandora – The World of Avatar is the newest land in the Animal Kingdom theme park. Here you will find two extremely popular attractions known as Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey. You can expect a thrilling ride on Avatar Flight of Passage as you climb aboard a Banshee (dragon-like creature) and ride through the beautiful World of Avatar. The Na’vi River Journey is a perfect family-friendly attraction as guests boat down river and see just how beautiful the Na’vi tribe’s rainforest is with bioluminescence lighting and the latest animatronics. Outside of these two attractions, the land is almost like an attraction itself with stunning beauty and ability to interact with guests… especially as it glows at night!

9. Kilimanjaro Safaris

Guests who visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom simply can’t go without enjoying a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris in the Africa section of the park. The attraction invites guests into the Harambe Reserve for a two week safari through the jungles and savannahs full of animals like elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions. Since live animals are the stars of the show, each experience will be totally different making it a favorite of many guests!

8. Haunted Mansion

Perhaps the most popular and beloved attraction with guests in the Magic Kingdom is the classic Haunted Mansion in Liberty Square. The attraction is housed in Gracey Manor where nine hundred and ninety nine happy haunts materialize and cause eerie and spooky effects. Guests love boarding their Doom Buggies and moving though iconic scenes like the ballroom, graveyard, and Madame Leota’s séance.

7. Pirates of the Caribbean

Another classic attraction in the Magic Kingdom which many guests love is Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland. The attraction has guests board boats and set sail with some swashbuckling pirates through eerie caves and a burning seaside village. Guests can sing along to ‘Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life For Me) and spot several audio-animatronics of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.

6. Test Track Presented by Chevrolet

Epcot is home to many attractions that guests love, but a very popular one can be found in Future World East. Test Track Presented by Chevrolet invites guests into the design studio where they can create their own SIM cars and test them on the track in Efficiency, Power, Capability, and Responsiveness. The attraction culminates in a thrilling outdoor loop that offers big thrills and great views of surrounding Future World.

5. The Mountains

Walt Disney World is also home to its very own mountain range which guests love enjoying. The Magic Kingdom is home to Space Mountain in Tomorrowland which blasts guests off into the galaxy for a thrilling adventure in near darkness. Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland features the wildest ride in the wilderness through the abandoned mining town of Tumbleweed. Next door is Splash Mountain which is guaranteed to leave guests soaked as they follow Br’er Rabbit on his adventure to find more adventure ending in a drop into the Briar Patch. The final mountain in the Magic Kingdom is the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in New Fantasyland which invites guests into the mines where the dwarfs work and offers sweeping views of nearby attractions and scenery. The final mountain of Walt Disney World can be found in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Expedition Everest brings guests deep into the Forbidden Mountain where they soon find themselves scrambling to escape the clutches of the monstrous Yeti.

4. Illuminations: Reflections of Earth

While Happily Ever After ends each night in the Magic Kingdom, Epcot also features a nightly show which can’t be missed. Illuminations: Reflections of Earth lights up World Showcase Lagoon with a combination of fireworks, beautiful music, pyrotechnics, laser lights, and dancing water. Guests can gather all around World Showcase Lagoon to find many amazing viewing spots and the show is the perfect way to end a day in Epcot.

3. Happily Ever After

No day in the Magic Kingdom is complete without a viewing of Happily Ever After. The show occurs nightly in the sky above Cinderella Castle and is set to beautiful music and awesome projections on the Castle. Kicked off by a flight by Tinkerbell, Happily Ever After combines all things Disney with beautiful fireworks for a show that many guests love.

2. Soarin’

With Soarin’ Around the World, guests will fly over both natural and man-made attractions such as The Great Wall of China and the plains of Africa. Soarin’ Around The World has been shot with new state of the art cameras.  In addition, the rooms have upgraded their screens and projection systems. 1. Cinderella Castle

One experience that any guest loves having on a Disney vacation is enjoying the view of Cinderella Castle. The focal point of the Magic Kingdom, Cinderella Castle resides at the end of Main Street and invites guests into the park with beautiful details including blue turrets trimmed in gold.
