10 Ways to Save Big on Your Next Walt Disney World Vacation

2) Buy gift cards at Target. -- Who doesn’t love Target? One of the best things about Target is that if you have a Target Red Card, you receive 5% off all purchases made with that debit card. Once you have decided you’re going to Disney, make it a habit to purchase a Disney gift card every time you receive your pay from work. At Target, for every $50 Disney gift card purchased with the Target Red Card, you’ll only pay $47.50. For every $100 Disney gift card, you’ll only pay $95 with your Red Card. Sure, it’s only a few dollars, but if you start buying gift cards early in your Disney trip planning, not only can you potentially have a stash of gift cards, but you will have saved a stash of cash in the process. Just think, if you’re paid twice monthly, and on each payday you purchase a $100 Disney gift card, at the end of six months, you’ll have $1,200 in gift cards, and you will have only paid $1,140. After one year, you’ll have $2,400 in gift cards, and you will have only paid $2,280. Every little bit of savings counts!
