Request a Water View at San Angel Inn Restaurante – The Mexico Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is home to several dining locations, including a popular one that combines unique and beautiful ambiance with delicious food. San Angel Inn Restaurante is a full service dining location that is located inside of the massive ancient pyramid that takes up much of the pavilion. The interior is an open air marketplace that is perpetually set to nighttime and the restaurant is located in the rear of the marketplace. In addition to the bustle of the nearby marketplace and beautiful nighttime ambiance, the San Angel Inn Restaurante is located on the shores of a gently flowing river where boats from the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros attraction drift by. There is also another ancient pyramid, lush vegetation, and a smoking volcano in the distance. Open daily for lunch and dinner, San Angel Inn Restaurante is popular with guests and typically very busy. Favorite menu options include Camarones al Ajillo, Tacos de Carne, Chile Relleno, Pollo a Las Rajas, and Carne Asada Tampiquena. While the food and ambiance can’t be beat, guests should ask to be seated at the far side of the restaurant along the edge of the water for the perfect view and experience.
