5. A myriad of other tours
VIP tours aren’t the only tours offered at Walt Disney World—not by a long shot. Over 20 different tours are currently offered at Disney World; just take your pick. You might choose to enjoy the Backstage Magic Tour, which lasts about seven hours and gives Guests a behind-the-scenes look at different parts of the Walt Disney World Resort. Guests learn about audio animatronics and the utilidor tunnel system and meet artisans who work on elaborate stage sets. As part of this tour, Guests will also have lunch at the Whispering Canyon Café and visit one of the world’s largest laundry facilities.
Maybe the UnDISCOVERed Future World Tour is more your style. On this 4-hour walking tour, Guests learn how Walt’s vision led to the EPCOT we enjoy today. As part of this tour, Guests also walk through the pavilions of Future World, learn all about the development and construction of EPCOT and even visit a VIP lounge at EPCOT.
If you’re an avid Walt Disney historian, you’ll enjoy the Marceline to the Magic Kingdom Tour. During this 3-hour walking tour, Guests learn about Walt’s childhood in Marceline, Missouri, and learn about the design of many of the classic attractions at Magic Kingdom.
All tours require valid park admission. Tours must be booked and paid for in advance. For more information on any of the tours offered in the parks, or to book a tour, call (407) WDW-TOUR (939-8687). (Photo credit: Disney)
