Disney World is known to have crowds, long line ups, busy restaurants and at times it can all get pretty overwhelming. It’s important to break up the chaos that can be found at the Disney parks with some slow paced rides and a little peace and quiet. Here is our list of the 10 most peaceful attractions at Walt Disney World.
10. Epcot’s Jumping Fountains
Located in Future World in Epcot near the Imagination pavilion, you’ll find some whimsical jumping fountains. These little fountains aren’t technically an official attraction, but they are certainly peaceful and worth seeking out when visiting Epcot. There’s something very tranquil and mesmerizing about watching the water jump from one point to another, or watching the synchronized diamond shaped fountains.
9. The Lazy Rivers
Each water park at Disney has a super relaxing lazy river that is the perfect place to recharge. Typhoon Lagoon has Castaway Creek, which is 2000 feet long, and Cross Country Creek at Blizzard Beach is 3000 feet. That’s’ a lot of peaceful drifting along in an inflatable tube.
8. Animal Kingdom Trails
The Maharajah Jungle Trek and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail are both walking trails that are completely immersive. You’ll feel as if you’ve left the city behind and you’re wandering through a lush trail in Asia or Africa. You can take your time and slowly walk the trails, or you can find a quiet little bench and enjoy the atmosphere of the trails. They are the perfect place to head if you need a break from crowds or thrill rides.
