When you book a room at a Disney Resort hotel, whether for a short stay or a long stay, you and your family will receive MagicBands as part of your package. Disney even makes receiving your complimentary MagicBands virtually effortless. After booking your Resort Hotel stay, you’ll receive an email from Disney with a link for customizing your MagicBands for your upcoming trip. (Customizing includes choosing a color and adding a name to the inside of a MagicBand for each member of your family.) You will then receive your MagicBands by mail. What could be easier?
