3. Arrive For Rope Drop -- If guests can’t take advantage of Extra Magic Hours in the mornings, they should definitely plan on arriving to the Magic Kingdom for rope drop. This entails arriving at the park before it officially opens for the day and waiting to be let inside. Guests who arrive early will be allowed through the turn styles onto Main Street where they can pass the time spent waiting shopping in the various stores including the Emporium or picking up breakfast in the Main Street Bakery. As the official opening time approaches, guests can head over to the hub of Cinderella Castle and enjoy a welcome show that occurs on the steps of the Castle.
