- Time Travel -- Even guests who expect a lot from their dining experiences when enjoying a Walt Disney World vacation might not anticipate the opportunity to time travel! Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to a unique full service dining location that brings the wholesomeness of the 1950s to life through décor, service, cuisine, and more. The 50’s Prime Time Café can be found in the Echo Lake section of the park and immediately brings guests back to the 1950s with an entrance that feels like a home den complete with vintage furniture and a television set. Once seated in the 50’s Prime Time Café, guests will meet their server who is always a cousin or relative and who encourages them to eat their vegetables, keep their elbows off the table, and more!
This interactive element keeps the dining experience fresh and unique and guests love the hometown feel of the experience. In addition to the totally unique environment, guests are sure to love the menu options offered for lunch and dinner that come straight out of the typical 1950’ family’s cookbook. Guests can order up such delicious options like Cousin Amy’s Iceberg Lettuce Wedge, Cousin Megan’s Traditional Meatloaf, Dad’s Stuffed Pork Chop, Grandma’s Chicken Pot Pie, Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken, Cousin Harold’s Vegetable Lasagna, and A Sampling of Mom’s Favorite Recipes.
