10 Classic Attractions That Haven’t Changed at Walt Disney World

5. Mad Tea Party

Join Alice, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the White Rabbit and the Dormouse for a spinning-ly and dizzy-ing good time at the Mad Tea Party inside Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. You and your family can step inside a colorful whimsical teacup that spins quickly or slowly, depending on how fast the wheel inside the cup is turned. Turn the wheel quickly, and your teacup spins faster and faster. If spinning and whirling make you a little green in the face, you can choose to turn your wheel more slowly—or not at all. Take care when you step out of your teacup—especially if you’ve been spinning quickly; you may feel a bit “mad” from all that spinning. The Mad Tea Party attraction was at Magic Kingdom when it first opened on October 1, 1971, and it hasn’t changed yet. So if you have yet to experience this classic, be sure to do so when you visit Disney World on your next unbirthday! (Photo credit: Disney)
