Walt Disney World to Change Blizzard Beach Bus Route

Blizzard Beach is one of the two amazing water parks located within Walt Disney World.  There isn’t an individual bus that goes to Blizzard Beach, guests have to catch another bus route from their current destination which also drops off at Blizzard Beach. We have learned that there will be change to the bus routes, impacting the Blizzard Beach drop off from Epcot.  The bus route from Epcot that runs to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort would also drop off at Blizzard Beach and Winter Summerland miniature golf course.  This will be discontinued, as guests who are leaving Epcot and want to visit either Blizzard Beach or Winter Summerland will have to make their way over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and then take a bus to the locations from there.  This will also be the case during hours when Blizzard Beach is closed, but Winter Summerland remains open.

This change will be in effect beginning on Sunday, March 4th, 2018.  It isn’t uncommon for Walt Disney World to change bus routes from time to time due to construction, refurbishments or other efficiencies that present themselves.  I think that guests sometimes forget about the water parks and miniature golf locations, so you should definitely check these out during your next Walt Disney World vacation.

How many of you previously used the transportation from Epcot to Blizzard Beach?
