Special Meet and Greet at Walt Disney World for the 75th Anniversary of Bambi

The classic Walt Disney movie, Bambi, recently celebrated its 75th anniversary.  This is one of the films that Walt himself worked on, so it definitely holds a special place in our hearts.  Walt Disney World decided to celebrate this milestone anniversary by offering special Disney PhotoPass opportunities at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  These special photo opportunities will be available from August 25th through 27th.

Here is what is in store for guests during this time:

Thumper and Miss Bunny Meet and Greet:  Available August 25th through 27th from 10:20 AM to 4 PM.  They will be outside of the Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.  There will also be a PhotoPass photographer there so that you can capture your photos within your My Disney Experience account or download them via Memory Maker.

Bambi and Friends Magic Shot: You can also have PhotoPass photographers at Rafiki’s Planet Watch add Bambi Magic Shots to your account where you have them added to some of your photos.  There are even props and signs that you may be able to take pictures with.

Butterfly Shot:  You can interact with a butterfly just like Bambi and have a butterfly Magic Shot taken.  You can have this option added to your photos at the following locations:  park entrance, Discovery Island, Asia, Africa and Rafiki’s Planet Watch.  You just need to ask the photographers in those locations for the special butterfly Magic Shot.

When you get your photos, you can share them on social media using the #DisneyAnimals and #DisneyPhotoPass when posting them.  We love special photo opportunities and can’t wait to see all of your photos!  Who will be in the park during this time?
