New “The Music of Pixar LIVE! A Symphony of Characters” Show Coming to Walt Disney World

Disney Parks Blog announced that for the summer, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will host a brand new show called, “The Music of Pixar LIVE! A Symphony of Characters.”  The event will be a limited summer-only concert event that will feature music from favorite Pixar movies performed by a live orchestra.  There will also be appearances by favorite Disney-Pixar characters during the show, too!

The show is expected to feature its first performance on May 26th.  The show will be performed 3 times each evening at Theater of the Stars, which is located on Sunset Boulevard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  This is the same stage where “Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage” is performed throughout the day.  The Beauty and the Beast performances will continue as regularly scheduled, and the new Pixar show will take place in the evening hours after the scheduled performances.

The new “The Music of Pixar LIVE! A Symphony of Characters” show is expected to feature scores from original movies like “Toy Story” and even sequels like the much anticipated, “Cars 3”.  The character experiences are expected to include Woody and Jessie (Toy Story movies), Mike and Sully (Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University), characters from The Incredibles and more.

This is sure to be an extremely popular event and one that you won’t want to miss!  What songs from beloved Pixar movies are you hoping to hear at this new show?
