New “Caring for Giants” Animal Viewing Experience Coming to Walt Disney World

Disney has announced a new backstage viewing tour that looks to be pretty amazing.  This new tour is called “Caring for Giants” and will be offered at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World.  The tour will take guests backstage where they will get to meet with the animal care cast members that care for the elephants at Disney World.  Guests will also meet with African cultural representatives to talk to guests about elephant conservation efforts and what the natural environment for elephants is like.  You will get to see elephants up close and learn more about their life at Disney’s savanna.

The tour will last 60 minutes.  It will be offered multiple times throughout the day from 10AM to 4:30PM.  The event is for guests that are ages 4+ and costs $30 per guest.  The event price doesn’t include park admission to Animal Kingdom, which is required.  All guests must have valid theme park admission for the day in order to attend the tour.  Reservations for the tour can be made in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.  Full payment will be required for a guests in the party at the time that the reservation is made.

There are a lot of great tours at all of the Walt Disney World theme parks.  You can ask about the different tour options by calling the same number.  There are tours that are appropriate for all ages and ones that are available for older kids and adults.  These tours give more in-depth look at your favorite parks, attractions, etc.
