Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party Expected to End at Walt Disney World

We are hearing reports that impact Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party, which is held most days at Magic Kingdom Park within Walt Disney World.  We are hearing that the popular street party is expected to end permanently later this year.  There were some reports that the street party would end in October, but now we are hearing that it will run through Saturday, December 1st, 2018.  There is expected to be a new dance party that will debut at Magic Kingdom Park in early 2019.  Guests who love dancing along to the music with some of their favorite characters should hurry out and enjoy the party while they still can, before it is gone!

Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party first debuted at Magic Kingdom Park in October 2014.  When it opened, it replaced Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party, which first debuted at Magic Kingdom Park in February 2009.  We don’t have details on what the new dance party at the park is expected to be, or what characters we might see in this new experience.  Of course we will keep you posted as we learn more and Disney makes official announcements on what we can expect.
