Getting Your Beauty and the Beast Fix at Walt Disney World

Beauty and the Beast is pretty popular at the moment, and I don’t see that going away any time soon. Disney has PLENTY of opportunities to get your fix while at Walt Disney World. Here are some of the best ways to step into the magic of one of the most beloved stories:

1. Enchanted Tales with Belle

This adorable attraction allows guests to literally step into the story. The queue wraps around in Maurice’s workshop, before a group is magically brought into Belle’s library! There, Belle and Lumiere tell the Beauty and the Beast story. But they need your help! With audience participation, select guests will get to play a part of the story. This is such a fun way to see the tale as told as time.

2. Gaston’s Tavern

The bad guy’s gotta get a little bit of love, too, right? Gaston’s Tavern is an exact replica of the one in the movie. It is a quick serve restaurant with several inside tables. They serve mostly snack food, but are known for their house specialty: LeFou’s Brew, a non-alcoholic frozen fruit drink. It’s incredibly fun to just be in this space and sit in Gaston’s chair! You might even get a chance to meet the man himself!

3. Festival of Fantasy Parade

Disney calls this parade a tribute to Fantasyland, and it truly is! You get to see all your favorite characters, from Merida to Mickey. But for a Beauty and the Beast fix, keep an eye out for their very own float! Belle and Beast appear in the Garden of Disney Princesses float with Cinderella, Tiana, Elsa, and Anna. Their section is gorgeous, with roses and vines and, of course, that iconic golden dress.

4. Meet and Greet in France

As you’d expect, you can also find Belle in France! Belle does her own meet and greet in the France Pavilion in Epcot. She generally hangs around the shaded area by the edge of the water, but sometimes she gets a little bit of freedom to walk around some. I once had a lovely conversation with Belle while waiting for Impressions de France to start. We talked books and adventure, of course!

5. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

What better way to get a Beauty and the Beast fix than to dress up like the Beauty herself? At Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, kids ages 3-12 can look like Belle for the day! (Or a dashing knight for the boys!) Fairy Godmothers-in-training make this transformation complete with some magic! There are various packages, but most include hair and makeup and a princess dress! You can make these fairytales come true at their Cinderella Castle, Disney Springs, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa locations!

6. Be Our Guest Restaurant

Ever wanted to eat inside Beast’s castle? You can at Be Our Guest! Dining here is like stepping into the beloved movie itself. Be Our Guest has three main dining rooms: The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing, and The Castle Gallery. Each room serves the same menu, but all give off a very different feeling. But wherever you sit, it is easy to get swept up in the magic and wonder of this Enchanted Castle!

7. Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage

Since the day Beauty and the Beast made its way into theaters and our hearts, so has this show! Opening in Hollywood Studios (then MGM) on the same day, this 25 minute theatrical spectacular is fun for all ages. It’s a condensed retelling of the classic tale in a Broadway-style form. You get all your favorite songs and characters, with voice talents from the original movie! It is the perfect Beauty and the Beast fix!

8. Bonjour! Village Gifts in Fantasyland

Nothing says Disney like merchandizing! To bring home some of the Beauty and the Beast magic with you, make sure to stop by the Bonjour! Village Gifts shop! This themed gift shop is located in the Beauty and the Beast section of Fantasyland, right by Gaston’s. It sells only movie merchandise, like Beast plushes, Chip mugs, Belle t-shirts, and more! Not to mention the inside of the shop is themed too!

9. Enchanted Rose Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie

For a Beauty and the Beast AND a sweet tooth fix, go for the Enchanted Rose Cake! You can find this confectionary masterpiece at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. It is inspired by the new Beauty and the Beast movie and pays homage to Belle’s dress and the rose! With flavors like lemon, white chocolate, raspberry and Italian buttercream, you can’t go wrong. Available for orders now!

10. Enchanted Rose Lounge

New to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the beautiful Enchanted Rose Lounge. This lounge replaced the former Mizner’s Lounge and we for one are happy with the change. With Beauty and the Beast inspired rooms, decor, cocktails, and food – this is a perfect way to unwind while getting your Beauty and the Beast fix.

11. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Akershus allows guests to dine in a medieval castle with some of your favorite princesses, including Belle! This unique dining experiences is set in a beautiful Norwegian restaurant with authentic Norwegian cuisine. The coolest part is that the princesses come around to all the tables to pose for pictures, sign autographs, and chat! This is a great way to chill with Belle!

Bonus Disney Cruise Line:

Lumiere’s on the Magic: On the first ship in the DCL fleet is an entire Beauty and the Beast themed restaurant! Lumiere’s is one of the three rotating dining rooms on the cruise. It is elegant and fun, with some of your favorite characters hanging about!

Beauty and the Beast the Musical on the Dream: This stage show is out of this world. Much different from the one in Hollywood Studios, this production is based off of the live-action movie and has some of the best state of the art theatrical technology anywhere. A must ‘sea’!
