Football and Cheer Events Happening this Weekend at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports

If you are into sporting events, then you are going to be especially interested in the events that are coming to Walt Disney World this weekend.  This weekend will be a busy one for the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex with various events planned.  This weekend, guests will be able to watch the start of Pop Warner Super Bowl Championship tournament as well as the Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Championships.

The 61st edition of the Pop Warner Super Bowl Championship tournament will start on Saturday, December 2nd.  The tournament will last the entire week with 64 teams from all around the United States competing for the National Championships.  There are two divisions with five different age and weight ranges.  They are:  Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Varsity, Varsity and Unlimited. If you want the opportunity to check out some of the amazing players that you might see in the NFL one day, then you definitely don’t want to miss this event.

For all of you cheer and dance fanatics out there, you will want to check out the Pop Warner Cheer and Dance Championships.  The championships will have 300 different teams competing throughout the week.  The championships will also begin on Saturday, December 2nd.
