Disney Vacation Club to Launch Guaranteed Event Weeks for Members at Walt Disney World

If you are an avid runDisney fan and interested in Disney Vacation Club, then you definitely want to check this out.  Disney Vacation Club has announced that they will offer a new option, called Guaranteed Event Weeks.  Guests are able to purchase an annual membership that gives them an automatic, week-long reservation at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, located at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in Walt Disney World.  The weeks are available for runDisney events like the Walt Disney World Marathon, Disney Princess Half Marathon, etc.  Not only will it guarantee the resort stay, but these members will also be able to annually secure up to five race entries in advance for the races that are offered during their allotted event week.

This is huge for the runDisney racers out there, as this allows them to guarantee that they have lodging and their race registrations, so they don’t have to worry about fighting the mad dash to register right when registration opens.  The accommodations at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins are amazing, too.  Many of the rooms feature kitchens, washer/dryer, jetted tubs and more.

The Guaranteed Event Weeks are now on sale and the eligibility currently includes the following events:

  • Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend
  • Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend
  • Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side
  • Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend

Guests that are interested can visit DisneyVacationClub.com/Run or call 877-382-6244 to learn more about how to become members.
