Construction Updates at Walt Disney World’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been under a lot of construction as Star Wars Land, Toy Story Land and other changes are being introduced into the park.  We expect to see construction and walls of some kind for a few years to come at this park.  Here are updates to the progress of a couple areas:

• PizzeRizzo:  Toy Story Pizza Planet closed earlier this year to make room for the new Muppet-themed quick service location to open. The new restaurant is expected to open in the fall of 2016.  You can now see signs for the restaurant on display and can tell that construction is well underway.  The theme is as expected and there even seems to be a nod to the original location.
• Streets of America:  If you are in the Muppet area and look over toward the old Streets of America area, you will notice some of the buildings missing.  The building facades that made up the street are being dismantled and removed, so it is weird to see the changes.  Eventually they will all be gone!
