Review: Cinderella’s Royal Table: “A Nice Beginning To Our 1st Trip To Disney World”

Review: Cinderella’s Royal Table: “A Nice Beginning To Our 1st Trip To Disney World”

I booked lunch at CRT for Feb which was our first day in the park, and I have to admit I was very apprehensive about this dining experience because of all the bad reviews. So we lowered our expectations and just went in knowing it was for the experience of eating in the castle and seeing the princesses.

Let me tell you it was much better than I could have expected. Firstly they take your picture with Cinderella and that is included with your meal. Then they lead you up the stairs into a beautiful dining room (that my kids just loved) and we were seated at a table next to a window overlooking the park!!

The princesses all came out to our table one by one and spent a few minutes signing autograph books and taking pictures and chatting. Our server was extremely attentive and refilled drinks as soon as they got too low. Our food came quickly and was hot. My husband and I both had the Salmon in the ginger sauce and it was fantastic. Cooked perfectly and not overdone. The sauce was not over powering either at all which can sometimes happen with salmon.

We all had the chocolate buckle which I had read was not very good, but ours was very good. In fact the cake portion tasted freshly baked and was served warm with chocolate sauce.

I think after reading all the reviews this place is pretty ‘hit and miss’, but we were lucky enough to get in on a ‘hit’ day and were glad we did. We were on the dining plan so we didn’t notice the pinch of the price we might have paid. It is 2 dining plan credits which is my 1 and only complaint. I think I would probably book this location again on a future visit and I would recommend it to friends and family to do it at least once. We were very pleased with it.
