Pirates of the Caribbean To Close For The Entire Summer!

According to WDW News Today, Pirates of the Caribbean will be closing for a much longer than expected time due to safety concerns.

The ride recently shut down for a few days to examine potential safety issues with the newer boats.

You might remember that a park guest who had his hand outside of the boat lost tips of his ring and pinky fingers last summer.

Since then, guests were not permitted to sit in the last row of the boats at Walt Disney World or Disneyland as Disney investigated the issues.

The ride is currently scheduled to be closed from May 11th through September 25th, 2015 to fix safety concerns. There are also rumors of design changes that have not been confirmed by Disney.
