Anna and Elsa get a New Home

Anna and Elsa get a New Home

The “Frozen” characters have generated more attention and demand than Disney originally anticipated.  The success of the movie and the sound track have created sellouts of merchandise in the parks and up to five hour lines to greet the characters at the Norway location in Epcot.  The hours were extended to 9AM through 6PM daily, but the crowds were still overwhelming.

Their stay in Epcot was extended indefinitely and the Festival of Fantasy Parade was amended at the last minute to add Anna and Elsa to the cast.

Now visitors wanting to meet Anna and Elsa, the lead characters of movie will soon will go to Magic Kingdom instead of Epcot.  Staring April 22, Anna and Elsa will “Let it go” at Princess Fairytale Hall, which opened last year near Cinderella’s Castle in the newly remade Fantasyland.  Although Anna and Elsa are the newest additions to the Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom, the only place to meet them will be in the Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom.

That location has the new FastPass+, which will allow some guests to make advance reservations to meet the “Frozen” sisters and other Disney princesses.

“Frozen” has taken in more than a billion dollars at the box office worldwide.
