We are fans! Since 1971 when I visited the Magic Kingdom for the first Christmas parade in their history, I was bitten with the Disney Bug. I was nine years old, but I can still remember many of the sights, smells, and sounds. It truly was magical.
It would be twenty years before I could afford to take my young family back to “The World.” It was the vacation of a lifetime and we have been fortunate to go over 40 times since. My daughters, now grown, still tear up when they see the castle. (So do I BTW.)
Our mission has become to help others discover, with proper planning, how amazing this place really is to create memories. There are lots of incredible Disney fan web sites out there. I frequent most of them. We wanted to do something a little different and build a site that was focused on dining in and around “The Happiest Place on Earth.”
We hope it will enhance your vacation and we trust you will join us in this journey by writing and commenting with your personal Disney dining experiences.
Rick Killingsworth and Family.
P.S. Many thanks to my sister whose high school band actually marched in the inaugural WDW Christmas parade. I tagged along and had my first experience with the Disney magic that would have a dramatic influence on me, my family, and friends.
