ABC Airs Commercials for Walt Disney World’s Toy Story Land During Oscars

We are all getting extremely excited for Toy Story Land coming to Walt Disney World.  We have been announcing details about the new, immersive land as we get them, with one of the most critical being the opening date set for June 30th, 2018.  If you happened to catch the Oscars on ABC, then you might have caught the new, three-part commercial series where the viewers could follow the ball (known as #FollowTheBall) as the iconic Pixar Ball makes its way around the United States all the way to the arrival at Toy Story Land in Walt Disney World.

Here is a look at the first of the three spots that was released:

With the opening of Toy Story Land will also bring the opening of 2 brand new attractions.  Slinky Dog Dash will be a unique, family roller coaster where guests get to board a Slinky Dog car as they make their way along the track and see popular characters along the way.  There will also be the Alien Swirling Saucers, featuring the lovable aliens from “The Claw” game at Pizza Planet.  When guests enter the land, they will be “shrunk” to the size of a toy and experience life as a toy in Andy’s backyard.
