A Walt Disney World vacation is filled with plenty of amazing experiences for guests to enjoy. From thrilling attractions and classic experiences to delicious dining options and world class entertainment, there are plenty of wonderful things to enjoy throughout each day of a Disney vacation. Each of these experiences are meant to evoke different emotions and reactions in guests. Certain attractions like the Haunted Mansion might aim to scare guests, others like Peter Pan’s Flight aim to charm them, and some like Expedition Everest aim to thrill guests. No matter what emotion or reaction an experience in Walt Disney World aims to evoke, guests are sure to experience it. There are definitely a certain number of experiences and specific moments which are so beautiful and unique that they are sure to get to guests. These moments can include big reveals, show stopping finales, and classic moments from favorite films, but they are all sure to touch on a guest’s emotions. Here are ten Walt Disney World moments that get to guests every time!

10. Flying Over London

One of the most beloved and classic attractions in all of Walt Disney World is Peter Pan’s Flight in the Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland. The attraction sprinkles guests with pixie dust and has them board pirate ships to take to the skies and soar with Peter and the Darling children. Before flying high over Neverland, guests soar over the nighttime streets of London for an amazing few moments. Guests can look down on the clouds and iconic London landmarks like Big Ben and the Tower Bridge and even spot traffic moving on the busy streets below. This scene in Peter Pan’s Flight is so beautiful and beloved that guests are sure to get a little choked up each time.

9. Taking Off On Soarin’ Around the World

Epcot is home to its fair share of very popular attractions, but one in particular allows guests to take to the skies for a hang gliding adventure they won’t soon forget. Soarin’ Around the World invites guests to soar high over some of the most beautiful places in the world including the Great Wall of China, Sydney Harbor, and Monument Valley. While the entire attraction is filled with awe inspiring moments, one of the most enjoyable comes in the very beginning of the experience. After buckling in, guests suddenly see the lights dim and hear the flight attendant Patrick announce “Soarin’ to tower, you are go for takeoff.” With that sentence, guests find themselves filled with anticipation as they are suddenly airborne!

8. Spaceship Earth’s Reveal

Another attraction in Epcot that is loved by many guests can be found just inside the main entrance of the park. Spaceship Earth brings guests on a journey from the beginning of time to present day to celebrate the history of communication. Guests board Time Machines and move through time enjoying scenes depicting moments like the Burning of Rome, the Renaissance, and the invention of the printing press. One moment of Spaceship Earth in particular which is sure to choke guests up comes near the end of the experience as guests enjoy a grand reveal of Earth surrounded by thousands of twinkling stars.

7. Beauty and the Beast’s Dramatic Moment

A popular stage show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage on Sunset Boulevard. The live show brings the classic Disney animated film Beauty and the Beast to life through live action, musical numbers, and special effects. Guests are sure to find themselves singing along during the musical numbers as well as getting choked up during the final confrontation between Gaston and the Beast. As the Beast lays there injured, Belle confesses her love for him and there are sure to be a few tears in the audience.

6. Kilimanjaro Safari’s Beautiful View

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to some of the most beautiful and lush landscapes in all of Walt Disney World. One of the most popular experiences there is Kilimanjaro Safaris which invites guests into the Harambe Reserve for a two week safari filled with up close encounters with animals like lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and more. While the animal habitats are beautiful, the moment that is sure to completely wow guests comes with a stunning view of the savannah. 5. Happily Ever After 

Each night in the Magic Kingdom comes to a close with a showing of Happily Ever After high in the skies over Cinderella Castle. The show uses Disney music, fireworks, and amazing projections to remind guests the happily ever afters are possible! The finale includes a final burst of fireworks accompanied by a dramatic musical ending which is sure to leave guests a little choked up.

4. Illumiations: Reflections of Earth Finale

Like Happily Ever After, Illuminations: Reflections of Earth helps to end each day in Epcot. The show takes place on World Showcase Lagoon and combines laser lights, special effects, fireworks, pyrotechnics, dancing water, and a massive spinning globe to gather guests around the fire. All of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is beautiful for guests to watch, but the dramatic finale features a touching musical moments with a massive fireworks burst sure to leave guests a little emotional.

3. Kiss Goodnight

While Happily Ever After is the official entertainment finale each night in the Magic Kingdom, there is another special moment that happens after the park officially loses each night that often can leave guests a little choked up. The Kiss Goodnight happens at Cinderella Castle generally a half hour after closing and features music accompanied by a speech thanking guests for spending their time in the most magical place on Earth. With special music, lighting, and a touching speech, the Kiss Goodnight is the perfect way to end any magical day in the Magic Kingdom.

2. Hitchhiking Ghosts

While many attractions and experiences in Walt Disney World evoke emotions of awe or wonder, there is one in particular which features the perfect combination of eerie and entertaining. The Haunted Mansion in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square invites guests into a stately mansion where nine hundred and ninety nine happy haunts cause all sorts of spooky occurrences. The finale of the attraction features a short trip through a crypt where three hitchhiking ghosts threaten to follow guests home. The trio appear in mirrors across from guests and seem to interact directly with them, causing all sorts of special effects and fun moments before following them home. Guests who find themselves face to face with the hitchhiking ghosts are sure to feel partially spooked but entertained!

1. Hall of Presidents Big Moment

Another attraction in the Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square taps into the patriotism of guests. The Hall of Presidents can be found in a stately brick manor building and celebrates the history of the executive office. Guests can learn about the lives and legacies of the Presidents of the United States, listen to Lincoln deliver the Gettysburg Address, and be awed with a grand reveal where every president can be found standing together unified on stage. The grand reveal of all the presidents is sure to leave guests bursting with pride and patriotism and perhaps a little emotional.
